Read and acknowledge notes
When someone writes a note for you, they want to know you have seen it. You do that with Acknowledge.
See what is new
Section titled “See what is new”At the top of Shift handover a yellow badge shows the number of notes that haven’t been acknowledged, for example 2 unread. Notes you wrote yourself don’t count.
The note list is grouped:
- Today
- Tomorrow
- Then later dates
The newest note is at the top of each group. Each card has a coloured edge by category (for example purple for Equipment, orange for Kitchen).

Acknowledge
Section titled “Acknowledge”- Read the note and look at any attached images.
- Press Acknowledge at the bottom right of the note.
The button disappears and at the top it says Acknowledged by Henrik Vestergaard (your name).

Note: There is one acknowledgement per note. Once one colleague has acknowledged, it is shown to everyone and the Acknowledge button disappears for the others. Use it to show that a manager or a person on the next shift has taken the note on board.
What acknowledgement means
Section titled “What acknowledgement means”Acknowledging is “seen and understood”, not an approval. If something needs follow-up, write a new note or talk to the colleague.
Delete
Section titled “Delete”Only the author sees the Delete button on their own note. See Write a note.
Filters
Section titled “Filters”There is no search or filters. The page only shows notes for Today and Tomorrow across all your locations. That keeps the list short so you can read everything at the start of a shift.
Questions
Section titled “Questions”I acknowledged by mistake. An acknowledgement can’t be undone, but it is only a marker.
The badge shows more unread than I can see. Some notes are further down under Tomorrow.
I can’t see Acknowledge. The note has already been acknowledged by a colleague.
